WAFtT: Session 7
Date: 24/05/15
Game Date: 21/03/15, Saturday
- The group recouperates from the assault on the Hospital. They are now minor celebrities as being associates of Comrade Hero.
- They search for the one who possessed Athena, and find she left the country for Canada, then returned. They track down an apartment she was seen entering.
- Recon sends a copy of himself to the Portal on Mercer Island, but loses contact with it.
- They also receive a set of tickets to the circus for Wednesday the 24th, paid for by Jeane the Sorceress.
The Heist
- While investigating, there is an alert of a hostage situation at Umpqua Bank on 3rd Avenue. The local version of SWAT is happy to let the Supers in first.
- Inside was Slowdown, Avenging Angel, Psychonaut, Headbanger, Phenom, and the Heliarch.
- After being bashed around a bit, Slowdown got his leg blasted off by a lava ball, Headbanger was crushed by a thrown car, and the Heliarch was electrocuted through jinxery. Avenging Angel was beaten down, but survived. Psychonaut and Phenom were shot down by a hastily summoned Recon after his previous inception was destroyed.
- Lady Liberty is badly wounded, as is Casus.
Back at Ground Control
- Back home, Athena is waiting. As soon as they appear, a shadowy creature steps out of her and she collapses. Athena is fine, just exhausted.
- Eidolon introduces herself. She was created by Shabriri and is now scared that she can't get back home, which is apparently Hell. She mentions that the demons are here for a game or contest of some kind and that there are portals in several locations around the world, including Vancouver.
- She also tells the group the Semiazas is Comrade Hero.
End of Session.
Due to Adventure Card shennanigans, the group also gets enough XP to now be Seasoned and get another Advance.
